Commencing in March 2026, this bespoke build converts residential garden space into a multi-zone sanctuary. The design merges a sophisticated home office with a durable gym, maximizing property utility in the LS8 landscape by providing a year-round, insulated alternative to commercial spaces.
The Challenge
Navigating Roundhay’s clay soil requires precision excavation and drainage to prevent ground heave. To meet 2.5m Permitted Development limits, the foundation is set deep to allow for reinforced flooring and sufficient internal clearance for gym equipment. Structural zoning is essential to decouple kinetic vibrations from the quiet office environment.
The Result
The finished structure provides a climate-controlled workspace utilizing premium PIR insulation and timber cladding. It establishes a definitive boundary from domestic life, increasing property value while integrating hardwired CAT6 data for seamless professional connectivity and smart-gym functionality.
